sometimes think bragg had the right concept it was just his delivery of the message that got tangled. (bragg if your looking in "whose a grumpy kitty)
so that being said we all know we are facing difficult finacial times so what can we do to help stay afloat. the mrs is much more frugal than i am but she still enjoys certain liberties, it takes quite a bit of cash to get the homestead up and running the first fw years purchasing equipment that is needed and while yes i agree it can be done by hand think of it this way i cut my timber in the bush and haul it back sometimes from half a mile away in 8 ft sections then cut it by hand the same way i cut down the tre then split it by hand, time wise that is not very economical especially when i heat my place by wood so a chain saw and a quad would cut that donw greatly.
so i have my bills as do all and i worry about upcoming projects being cancelled because the price of nickel is down mrs eagle has come up with some ideas but sometimes its hard to see the big picture cuz i think well thats only going to save me 30 bucks big deal, but if i put that 30 bucks in the bank every monthi've saved 360 dollars that year now multiply that by other cost cutting measures and i have just saved one month mortgage which could make all the difference
savings accounts work also i try to have 6 months of truck payments, and minimum payments for all my other bills saved up.my unemployoment insurance will cover the mortage for a year, then when the time comes i can live 6 months on the food i have stocked up.
lets touch on that really quick just buy one or two extra things each trip when on sale and yuour food storage will grow quickly.
thats all i've got folks anyone care to share their thoughts and tips?
