While looking through past threads, I have noticed the amount of irrelevent posts made that has nothing to do with the topic at hand. When new members asks for information, they are often are directed to seach the forums (which I think is a good thing). But perhaps they are turned off by the amount of posts that are useless in the threads that are supposed to be about a certain topic. I certainly am.

I do know that they are lots of threads and that all of them cannot be cleaned out, but what about the sticky's? Aren't they supposed to be 'more important' that other threads? So could the sticky threads be cleaned out atleast?

Daniel

It's a thread that the mods or Chris mark (sticky) so that it stays at the top of a category. Look in this one (Site Quiz and Forum Feedback) and you will see several. That way they are always there (common questions, common topics, frequently discussed stuff, etc.)

I thought a sticky was one of those little yellow piece's of paper used to leave messages all over someones desk.
