Runs With Scissors

How-do everybody!
28 (soon to be 29) year old WS Instructor from the mountains of Southeast KY.
I grew up learning from my grandparents, as well as teaching myself.
Froze my @$$ off in my first lean-to when I was 14 (needless to say I came back home having learned a big lesson!).
I grew up running the hills and trails (as well as the not-so travelled places) of these mountains.
I hunt (bow being my favorite), I fish (catfish, hushpuppies, green onions, beans and beer...does it get any better?). If it takes you outdoors, I'm there.
I'm busting my butt off to give KY its first serious and devoted "school" for Bushcraft and survival. I should be purchasing the LLC for the name sometimes in the early spring if everything goes right.
As well, this spring/summer I will begin working with our chapter of the American Red Cross as an Instructor for what they call "Extreme Outdoor Adventures". It's a co-ed scout program for Boy and Girl Scouts where they take field trips such as: canoeing, camping, hiking, etc...
So that has me extremely excited.
I've always enjoyed this site, and never really noticed there was a forum on it!
Look forward to sharing and learning from you folks!
