Invest in that which has MOST value to you, to preserve that value. Then, it will have done its job well.

Of course, THAT begs the question: what is most valuable to you?

For me, it is my family, and their unshakable confidence in my love and generosity, no matter what. I also know that my own family will never ignore me, or worse, turn me away, because they love me as I love them. That kind of security cannot be bought, but comes from continued high priority investment - and esteem.

Belief in self. Family. Conviction. Honesty. Those who take responsibility for their own actions.

Got to take care of yourself, rebel, in order to take care of your family.
Then you say, okay, me before my family and I say you are so selfish. :D

What is most valuable to me..hmm....let's see. Well, I have 3 really cool cat's eye marbles, a 1964 Jean Belliveau hockey card, owner's manual for a 1962 Chevrolet Impala (283 cu. in. motor with the 2 speed Powerglide automatic transmission...can you say hooah?), a Swiss Army knife with most of the accessories NOT rusted closed, and ...not what we're talking about?

no no darling, when I read the headline I thought maybe we were gonna start bartering and trading stuff, (since--you know--the stock market is finished, figured we were starting our own market) I'll tell you that owner's manual for the Impala--that's a keeper.
