This here Wilderness Survival Forum looks mighty interesting, so I decided to join you all. I have a passion for woodcraft and I love swapping stories. I live here in north/central Indiana. Been married to the same woman for so long I have to ask the wife "how long it's been".

Thanks for the warm welcome.

smokelessfire; the area where I live is rolling farm and woodlands. There are a number of small manmade lakes and ponds around here in fact, there is a pond right across the road from our house. We have woods behind and in front of our house and they both have a small ridge running through them. The farm fields are small and planted in beans, corn, wheat and hay. The Wabash River and the Eel River joins about 5 miles from us.

wareagle69; I've heard a little about that academy. That's in LaPort County, isn't it?

lumpy and nell67; the wife tells me that we have been married for 44 years. We have 5 kids and 9 grandkids.
