Thanks to the people who lived here before us and left us a beautiful and pristine legacy.
Thanks to our friends, who are still happy to see us even though we always complain how much we hate going to town.
Thanks to the moose, mountain goat, trout and garden veggies who all lived and then fed us.
Thanks to all our wild animal neighbours for sharing some of their lives with us.
Thanks to the wild plants and medicinal herbs for being our shelter, keeping us warm and helping in times of need.
~~~*burp*~~ (feasted yesterday, still recovering) but yeah, pretty much what wildwoman said.
WE, I was at a feast with 24 people age range from 8 to 80, two families...I'd say we get pretty family oriented about it
It was turkey, potatoes, carrots, stuffing, and apple pie for me. Done today at my daughters house. Also had birthday cake as it was the granddaughters first B-Day....cake everywhere.
Wait! Let me get this straight. All this food and not one of you invited me? (sniff) I like Canada (he said walking away wiping a tear). I really do.....
sorry man but your moderator status will not allow you into the thanksgiving festivities we want to be able to belch and do other things w/o being censored
Right on Riverrat and happy b-day to your granddaughter. We had turkey, ham, caesar salad, perogies, meatballs, cabbage rolls, mashed potatos, sweet potatos, turnips, carrots, parsnips, all kinds of pickles, couple of cheeses, wine and alcohol free wine, coffee, pumpkin pie, lemon meringue pie, butter tarts, pineapple cheesecake, boston cream pie. I have a sense that I'm missing out on a few things, but I just wanted to mention all this for Rick's sake. :D
It's unbearable, I tell you!
Now that so looks like someone who's just really enjoyed a good crap in his pants but now it's getting all cold and tacky on him.
And you point is? Excuse me, I have something I need to take care of.
Got back last night from 6 days of camping and ATVing west of Sundre Alberta on the Forestry Trunk. Encountered Black Bear, Grizzly, Moose, Elk, tons of Deer, wild horses and my first sighting of a Bald Eagle in the 318 district.
My son, brother in laws and I bagged 22 Blue Grouse on saturday for the annual Thanks Giving Grouse deep fry. Spent every day riding trails and playing in the skag. Great times again with the whole family together. Lots to be thankful for!
Looks like the dog is the only one that stayed clean! Great pics, Bragg. Glad you and your family had a good time.
