There are 2 types of snares:

Modern snares use a mechanism so that once the snare tightens it will not loosen. Hence the animal cannot escape.

Traditional snares usually use the spring in a branch to hang the animal by the noose, killing it.

There are many different designs of each type. Traditional snares can be made with nearly any line. Modern snares require special materials.

What do you mean,To make a snare Quick.The time it takes to make, Or how fast the snare will work?

The simplest snare is just a noose tied to a support. You could tie a figure eight loop and run the other end through and support it up with thin twigs or use a slipknot. Thin wire is best for snares. Spring snares have the advantage of lifting and strangling the animal and sometimes keeping them out of reach of some predators.
