CNBC reports this morning how hard all these people are working. They are so sympathetic towards the people that are working so hard to save us from our foolishness. Bush has been working so hard all these years to save us from our enemies. Paulson is so tired, but he continues to work so hard to save our pensions and our stocks from sinking. Let's face it. It's hard work. And they are working hard.

Do get some rest brave economic soldiers. You were laughing all the way to Sothebys Picasso auctions and yacht dealorships just last summer. We want you to be happy and prosperous again. You have work so hard to help us all own a home and trade stocks on our blackberries. No more digging ditches for us North Americans. We are better than that. You work hard so we can shop and trade.

All kidding and joking aside, GET some cash in your hands today! As much as you can get. Banks hold very little cash (because it costs them money to hold). Fill your pantries will food. Fill your fuel tanks.

I will be calling all my staff today for an emergency meeting to give them a day off (with pay) to prepare for what's ahead. Most of my staff have small children. They can do what they want with the time, but I hope they heed my warnings.

God bless you.

Yeah, I've heard that final warning thing before, usually from bill collectors. They never mean it, is this really your final warning? Promise?

Ain't nothing happening here. Every day is the same. Split firewood, fetch water. Need to dig up the potatos soon. Might take a long walk on the beach and look for freebee's.

i hear you hope; you're digging spuds, i'm just putting mine in. garden holds me in better stead than a house on credit or savings in a mutual.
either way, a bank run or credit collapse isn't a concern of mine, since i have no bank account, loan or money.

Dude, what's with you? The moment you were born you started to die! Sure wish I worked for you, I could use a day off. But I gotta tell you, I wonder what's going through the minds of your employees right about now? Probably something like: "What is it with this guy? Is he nuts or what? Oh well, I can use the time off with pay..."

bragg i understand preparing actually its kind of like my motto but and don't take this the wrong way dude it seems to me like you live your life in fear of loosing everything that you have, as i have said over and over things are just things some times the lack of things can be very freeing, i wonder about your constant obseesion with all this, but if your world is closing in on you i wish you the best of luck

WE, Ive made millions and lost millions...... twice. I made my first million dollars at 21 years old and lost it all at 22. Built it all up again and lost it all again by the time I was 28. I know what it is like to have and to have not. I did this all without being in the stock market and was happy in both instances.
To me the economy is a hobby, like you practicing your skills. My warnings are for people that are getting by or to the 70% majority that are living in the red each month. I have friends in the US that have lost most of their life saving in the last three weeks alone, NOW they are calling me for advise. Too late. I live more freely than anyone I know. I work a couple days a week if that, do and go where I want, have a healthy family that supports me in all I do, and I am prepared in every way imaginable, spiritually and monetarily.

The world is falling into a depression unlike anything that's ever been seen before. If I can help just one person, it would all be worth it.

Best of luck to you too WE.

My warnings are for people that are getting by or to the 70% majority that are living in the red each month.

Almost all of that 70% choose to live in the red by buying stuff they cannot afford, charging it to credit cards, and getting 2nd mortgages they can't pay off. Then they file for bankrupcy and expect the other people/companies to pay for it. A few have unexpected medical bills due to a crippled health care system.

Anyone see Dr. Phill last night? One family was $1 million in debt. It was just poor money management and materialism all the way.
