Hello from California. I was into survival way back in the 60's and early 70's as a kid. I got into it after reading a book called "The American Boys Handibook."
Having been a scout also helped fan that interest. But as time will have it we change. I grew into adulthood, got married, had kids and now I have been getting back into returning to nature.
I recently found out one of my great-grandpaps was full blooded chocktaw medicine man so my interest in getting back to survival grew again.
