Hello, I live in the midst of suburbia near Cleveland, Ohio. Over the past few years my interest in the outdoors has increased. I grew up near a river and a small wooded park. Many of my fondest childhood memories involve that river,and the surrounding woodland. Growing older and maturing (supposedly) I lost contact with the outdoors due to jobs, marriage,kids,and the pursuit towards things I thought I wanted. I have been doing alot more outdoor endeavors in the last few years. Last year my brother and I took a trip to the BWCA in Northern Minnesota. This year I took a solo trip up there. I have been practicing many survival methods in my backyard when time permits. My biggest problem is finding somewhere to practice out in the wild. Thanks for reading.
