Bad information

I recently came across a site which, From the start looked 'Okay' in a proffesional sense

However some of the information ive seen on it sofar i either cant beleve will work, Or know it wont

It is run by a guy called Wolf Mills, A supposedly ex special forces soldier, turned survivalist

Some examples are :-

In a Question directed to the site creator-
Hey Wolf, what's the most difficult survival situation you've ever faced"




A: "I'd have to say it was when I was trapped adrift on a block of ice in the Bearing Sea for a week. I had to sculpt a piece of ice into a magnifying glass and hold it up to the Sun to burn my clothes just to stay warm. Luckily, I was able to fashion a harpoon from a drifting whale bone and spear a passing Seagull for food."

Yeah right, youed be dead from hypothermia after the fist day (minimum)


Another is one of his survival "tips" -

If you're ever trapped in the African savannah (as I often am) and are charged by a rhino, simply pantomime writing with your left hand as rhinos instinctively shy away from left-handed people.

I have no information on this, But somehow i think pantomimeing with my left hand isnt going to scare off anything, Let alone a full sized rhino


It annoys me that the people on this site, And other like it. Give good, croorect inforamtion to people interested in survival, Making them that bit more prepaired

However these guys out there that post this stuff, i think are dangerous to a point. What if someone who is new beleives that stuff ? They might try it and end up dead

Well, my knife is so sharp, that if I were to clean my teeth with it, I would shave of splinters that could be used as fishhooks or needles because, after all, bone is sharper than anything, so its strictly a personal safety issue, dontchaknow.

I was on a icefloat for 10 mins a while back. I was able to sculpt an entire magnifying IGLOO And when a wale bone floated by I carved a KAYAK out of it useing a tooth. and i still had 3.5 mins.............................................. YA right!!!!!!
