Two more storms to keep an eye on. Have a plan and be prepared.

Looks like Hanna will take a swipe at most of the east coast all the way up to Nova Scotia. Cat 1 initially, lots of rain after that. Ike has me a bit concerned though.

Ike's a cat4 now! My gator hunting season is going down the toilet. So many cancellations. It's cost me money, I have to pay $53 for each agent license. I'm just hoping that they rebook.

Latest track projections for Ike have it hitting fairly close to where Gustav came ashore. All of the evacuations seemed (at least on the news coverage) to go fairly smooth. Those folks may have to do it again.

Well, hey. Here's a thought. Why not just move? If I lived in a place that treated me like a tea bag I think I'd find somewhere else to live. Besides, I have some conspiracy theories about Nagin. I made them up. That's what makes them mine.;)

Mabe some Day we can be a people who learned how to live and build any where without the fear of being destroyed by weather and /or earthquakes. It would be a tough task, and the expense of it enormous. because mankind is worth the effort, we should make our plans and follow through with it

we are expecting 50-75mph winds here in san antonio, the rain will be bad but it is the people fleeing the storm that can be the real trouble. you can see crime double and triple in areas were katrina victims were placed.

Looks like this one will have quite a storm surge when it hits around the Galveston area and then make a pretty sharp turn to the northeast.

I don't think Otis Redding will be "Sitton' on the Dock of the Bay" this week!
