AND THE KIDS WANT TO GO CAMPING!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

So, put up the pyramid, waterproof floor, fly, and we are going camping. Through the storm. Hmmmmmmmmm.......wonder how long they are going to stay in?

Well, we are camping in the backyard. Along on the trip is John, a Catahoula that has adopted us this past Monday and Bone, a springer spaniel mutt, both are pups.

Going to be an interesting night.

The smart ones, the wife Caren, Harley the weener dog, and Jessica the rotty will be staying in the house.

FVR - looking at the radar, this is one of the big bands from Fay. Stretches from up by you, down to Miami. We're getting some severe thunderstorms from it, with a couple of tornadoes forming - so be careful!

It was a good weekend. Thanks.

The storms and rain did not come. The tent was a little warm, I was very surprised that both kiddy's went right to sleep. Now, I did get kicked in the stomach, elbowed in the face, dog bit my toe, and there was one mosquito that I finally dispatched.

I read by flashlight a few books and my son went right out. My daughter took a little more time.

They woke me up around 0530, well they really did not as I was up, but I let them think they did. By 0545 they were inside with two bowls of cereal, watching the scoobydoo marathon on Sunday.

Learned a few things; ring pops do not belong in a camping situation as they attract ants, the tent although very easy to put up and take down, it has no ventilation in the summer and I need to make two mosquito net doors, the ground is hard, my daughter throws a great mauytai right elbow, that's about it.

Had a great time.

You forgot one thing, Frank. Probably the most important. Two memories were made that they will carry for a long time. Sounds like a good time all around.
