The New York news media had their panties in a bunch over it a couple days ago.

I've said it for twenty years: it will take us getting back to the old west mentailty as far as guarding ourselves against the predators and crazy folk.

What ever happened to corporal punishment? My shop teacher could bend a kid over a 100 pound table and move both with one swat. He had some of the best behaved kids in his class........

My dad always told me if I got paddled at school I'd get paddled at home. He was a man of his word. Thanks, dad. Sometimes good lessons are hard learned.
