For many of us now is the time to be thinking about those fall gardens. Here is a list of plants that do very well as fall plantings:
Asparagus (crowns)
Beets
Broccoli
Brussels sprouts
Cabbage (plants)
Cabbage, Chinese
Carrots
Cauliflower
Collards
Cucumbers, pickling
Cucumbers, slicing
Kale
Kohlrabi
Lettuce (leaf)
Lettuce (head)
Mustard
Onions (seeds)
Onions (sets or plants)
Radishes
Radish, Diakon
Rutabagas
Spinach
Turnips
There are probably others but those are the short growth, cool loving plants that come to mind.
