If you're hiding from the police and give them a fake name when questioned, make sure the tatoo of your name on your head is not in plain sight.

Ah the fiendishly clever machinations of the criminal mastermind! :D :D Reminds me of the story about the guy who wrote a hold up note on the back of his own personalized check. Anyone wonder why the jails are full?
Or filled out an employment form with his real information before robbing them. Yeah, brilliant.
"Tattoo? On my head? It's not mine. Someone must have put it on there while I was sleeping. Honest."

Don't laugh Rick, there was a guy that molested and killed a little girl in Crothersville about 3 years ago,and after being sent to prison, some guys in there tattooed Katies Revenge on the guys forhead.
I can think of another location that should have occurred but understand why they might not wanted to do it. That's a pretty long mo****r, if you know what I mean.

Either way,he is a marked man for what he has done,he will never be able to go anywhere without his past getting there first, sure he can have it removed, but I understand thats painful, and leaves scars

Just looked the story up online, and it says they found a medical practitioner who removed the tattoo for free, that sucks, they should have left it there.
turns out it was a cousin of the little girl who did it to him.

The tattoo addition is funny Nell. It seems that since jail doesn't deter crime (the inmates have cable TV, but I don't), perhaps we need visible markers of a person's crime. Like cutting off their left hand for stealing or armed robbery. Or a tattoo on their neck for other crimes.
Personally, I think we should think about caning people like in Singapore. It hurts like he11, but the people don't pay to support the inmate in jail. So the next time the person wants to do a crime, he'll remember how much the caning hurt. Kind of like spanking.

I think child molesters should have their genitals cut off with a dull jagged knife and be left to bleed to death slowly and painfully. But alas, the world has "feelings" for the scum of the earth, and they have "rights". (Not if I ever become president).
Don't hold back, catfish. How do you really feel about it?
I've always thought that if a society wanted a form of capital punishment that might actually work as a deterrent, they should let it be known that the criminal will be executed by the same means that they killed their victim. So you know, that nutbar on the bus up here...chop off his head. If someone rapes people and kills them...ta da! Of course, you'd need somebody pretty coldblooded to perform some of the executions....

First option should be to allow the victims family carry it out. If they decline, there will probably be lines forming.
right, tell me it's a bad idea...
I didn't say THAT. I just said you were cold.

A few years ago in the FL. panhandle. Several 17 year old girls joined the sherifs' intern program and had sex with the deputies. The deputies were charced with statutetory raoe and sent to prison. The girls were in no way virgins to begin with. Where's the justice?
Catfish,... LA has a manditory castration law on the books.

When checking the pants pockets of a crack head and upon finding crack you may get the response, "Officer, I swear these aren't my pants!"
The above follows by much laughter and then the sound of handcuffs ratcheting closed.

An officer of the law is suposed to uphold themselves to a higher standard. You can't tell me that they did not know what they were risking when they did it. I may not see that as the same as raping a child, but it still aint right, and they should have acted more professionally or at least thought about the consiquneces of their actions before letting their testosirone get the best of them. Not only did they get charged with stat. rape, I believe they were charged with malfeasence in office, they were all fired, and will have a very hard time finding another job when they get out. THEY ALL KNEW EVERY BIT OF THIS BEFORE THEY DID WHAT THEY DID. SCREW 'EM!! JUSTICE WAS SERVED!!!!
Chemical castration is not painful enough for child molesters or child rapists.

1st of all from a cops point of view let me say that Catfish is correct, LEOs are and should be held to a higher standard, putting on that badge gives a certain amount of trust right off the bat and some of that is knowing the difference between right and wrong and being professional.
They knew the law and what they did wrong, everyone is sorry when they get caught. The worst criminal is a bad cop.
Just my opinion.

Never was any type of LEO but I have relatives that are state down to local and I don't know how they do their job. Some crimes against kids, women & old folks that I know about should be an automatic tall tree & a short rope at the minimum. I may be wrong but wasn't it the Native Americans that did turn the person over to the victims family? Have to give it to LEOs, I don't think I could bring someone in, especially in WV knowing the worst thing that could happen to them is life, never figured out what life meant. It sure varies. I think here they are even "protected" from the general population. My "tax money" at work. They live better than most people outside, 3 squares a day, cable tv, books, exercise equipment to keep them in shape. I'm afraid I would wind up inside if I was a LEO. Enough for me, my blood pressure probably went up just typing this.
