My grandfather, age 90, had to drop out of school during the depression and get a job, because his father had tuberculosis. Now, at age 90, he just got his high school degree from his old high school. He became a senior design engineer at GM, he has a natural technical talent.

Even the Today show wants him to be on TV and he has been interviewed by several newspapers and radio shows. The thing he is most excited about: he got his diploma. He will be on the Today show Thursday at 9am. His name is John Locher (sounds like "locker").

Good luck to you, grandpa.

p.s. In WW2 he was in the Coast Guard and shipped supplies to the Pacific.

Man, that is sooooo cool. Good for him. It's never too late to set a goal and go after it.
