Might be a cold winter, stove oil (Diesel less the Hwy. Tax) is $4.61 per Gal. if you get at least 300 Gal. per delivery.

And Oil just opened up $3.30 per Barrel.

I wonder when the fuel delivery company's will start demanding green cash on delivery....? When will they have a security guard on board, they are driving around with $ 20,000.00 worth of oil on-board.

We filled up early spring betting on higher prices - we paid $4.40 a gallon.

The office lady told me they already had a problem starting last year with people not paying... No more purchasing "on account" - and this is a fairly good sized regional oil company.

Cash or credit card.

Here if you don't pay with-in 10 days they come back and suck the oil out. And add a charge for reposing the fuel.

I agree with you WE. I think this is going to be self correcting. We won't ever see $3.00 a gallon again but it will level off.

It appears you and I are the only two sane ones in the bunch and, frankly, I wonder about you sometimes.:D

I just got off the phone with the fuel co. it went up .10 during the day today it is now $4.71 per Gal.

I need to pay them to suck all the fuel out of the lower tank, the one down near the road, and fill the tank half way up the mountain, then I am going to move the lower tank to the top of the mountain and cover it with brush, and camo-net. I'll have to use the 6X6 to get the fuel up there in 55 gal. drums.

Uh, call me crazy but once you get it up the hill, who do you think is gonna drag the tank back down?

"Dude! Check out the top of that mountain. Primo spot for a camo fuel tank. Let's check it out."

"Carefull, man. Dude that lives here wears a rubber loin cloth."

"Animal!"

Me too hopeak......spent the day transferring fuel around as well. Did a specific gravity test on the older fuel and sending the data to a buddy who works for Shell.
