Going on a trek June 20, 21, 22 and its a sixty mile hike through the deep forests here, the area is cut by a river and mountains so its all up and down trekking. The group of us (about 10) doing an old Miami Indian trail in middletown so it should be fun. Of course we're doing old school in the 1750s time line so no modern gear. Gonna take my camera though so I can post some great pics for ya.
Anyone doing any camping or trekking lately or in the near future?

Also I started taking fencing (french style sword lessons) her at school called Salle Du Lion, I'm taking the saber because it seemed more manly than a foil to me :D and its pretty cool. Been doing that for about a month and a half, kinda expensive to get started but worth it in the end. Real nice people and a good time.

Do you use an electrical saber to tally scores? I have a superficial interest in fencing. Of the three, I think the saber is a bit more difficult in that you can score on the edge of the blade as well as the point. I enjoy watching it as much as any sport.

No for now I have a training saber as the electrical are expensive (or I'm just cheap) the edge is blunt but the tip is sharp as hell, got some bruises on my arms as the positions are more difficullt than the japanese (I have a 2nd degree in Iaido, Japanese swordsmenship) and I have a habbit of converting back as I workout.

Hey Beo - good to see you around. As far a sabers go, I prefer the lightsaber.
