Hi all, here is a simple pot holder I just made that turns a standard charcoal starter chimney into a stick stove.

I cut two slots into the outer section so it will work with both my small and large weber starter.

Will clean up the edges when it's not raining and I can use my belt sander outside.

The brackets fit completely inside for storage and transport.

Used it the other day to cook a pot roast. Held my small dutch oven, no problem.

Did a nice job on the browning the meat and sweating the vegetables. Was preheating the brazing water while getting the charcoals ready in the fire pit on the left side.

Good idea for utilizing all that wasted heat energy from lightning coals...

Good idea for utilizing all that wasted heat energy from lightning coals... It also saves a lot of time when making a pot roast as you can bring it to boil very quickly.
