I work for a nationally recognized television production company and we're currently looking for a builder or a group who tracks down dilapidated cabins in Alaska, rebuilds them, and transforms them into the ultimate survival shelters.

If they are providing the materials and labor I have a fantastic project in Kentucky for them!

People up here will repair old cabins to give them a place to cache supplies (if it's in the path of a major trip like on the way to fish camp) or if it is on their trap line. But they wont put much money into it especially if it actually belongs to someone else. And they certainly wouldn't advertise it. A place to survive a disaster? You mean like ones that are actually likely to happen such as your own cabin burns down? That's why most people who live in the bush have a secondary cabin or storage that can be heated if their cabin burns down in the middle of winter, happens pretty regularly.
