Hey folks,
I'm trying to build up a small inventory of traditional wood working tools. All human powered for building our cabin, making some furniture and crafts, plus logging.
I have some experience logging and doing cabinetry, but I want to know if I'm missing anything. I'm not trying to go crazy as our space is limited due to the move.
I have...
1. one and 2 man crosscut saws, finer ripping saw
2. adze and axes, wedges, draw knives
3. wood chisles
4. bit and brace (looking for plug cutters)
5. set of small carving tools
6. cant hook
7. small hand drill and bits
8. block plane, spoke shave
9. files and sharpening stones
10. looking for a spoon gouge or something bigger
Let me know what I'm missing... not trying to build a cathedral or anything, just some basic tools.
