Sometimes being the best of the best isn't good enough. All it takes is the fickle fingers of fate.


here is a link about a world class mountain climber that did not make it, Ueli Steck. It is said the team collected his body parts and brought him out. I guess he was one of the lucky ones because Everest is full of dead bodies.
