I was breezing around E-bay and saw a gravity feed water purifier for .99 and 5.00 for shipping. Just for the heck of it I bid .99 thinking this will go for a bit more. I forgot about it untill I got a notice in my E mail that I won it.

Walbro Water Purifier. The box says it is good for 100 gal of water.

It is small enough to fit in the wifes pack. The H2O to Go are in the BOB's.

I got a steel and now TDW has a Water Purifier in her pack.

Oh but not all water filters are the same. Beware.

Found this http://www.vestergaard-frandsen.com/lifestraw.htm Looks like a pretty remarkable product. Doesn't look like it's available retail yet, but I'm sure it will be someday.

I have H2O to go straws and a NCI gravity filter. This would be used for TDW's BOB. If nothing else it will keep the water clean before I boil it. I plan on boiling all the drinking water unless it is from use with the H2O to go straws.

I have a 2 liter bucket type filter from Pur, you scoop up the water hang the bucket from a tree branch and then gravity runs it down a tube into your canteen. Fits in my B.O.B. and is good for 10000 liters. Got it unused but preowned off eBay for 12 bucks counting shipping.
