Hi,
I am originally from Pennsylvania but currently live in Central Brazil. I've been into wilderness survival and bushcraft for about 25 years and hope to learn more here on this forum.
I am a Baptist missionary church planter. As part of my work with young people I have a wilderness survival course (Per Ardua) that I run several times a year. When I'm not running the course I like to get out into some of our spectacular wildernessa reas down here. My kids have caught the bug as well and are turing into woodsrats.
The Per Ardua (Latin for "Through Difficulty") course covers the basics of wilderness survival. It is centered around shelter, fire, water, signals, navigation, and food. Recently I've been uploading some of the things we do to Youtube both to advertise the course down here and make people back home aware of that aspect of what I do. Anyway it is a blast and I thought you all might like to see it too.
When I started out there was nothing like the internet. I hope to contribute what I can and learn what I may.
