Awesome pics, Crash. Glad you got to take it out on a maiden voyage! So, what did you use to christen her? Gout de Diamants?

Very nice. It's amazing how big a fish those Ospreys will go for.

Niiice. So I assume that water moves. Is it tidal water or a lake or a river? How fast does it move?

It's a river that flows into a lake (dammed at one end for conservation control) so currents are mild. The afternoon sea breeze kicked in pretty good, so a nice headwind on the return paddle. The tunnel hull tracks pretty well even in the wind.

That's some nice looking water. Seems like every time I go out I am into a headwind. Can be tougher than fighting current. Do you have some kind of anchor? I am using a pole anchor because I am mostly in shallow waters.

We did not bring an anchor. We will when we go fishing.

You get incredible birds down your way, don't you?

We do, and as y'all get that white stuff on the ground more and more arrive. Some even stay. (You realize of course there is a northeast snowbird joke that is just begging to be played.......too easy though).

Relaxing, just looking at the pics. Thank you for giving us a glimpse of your world. Wish I was there right now.
