Hey all. My name is Al. I have just made my way from Mountain Home Idaho to Clare County Michigan. I live 20 miles from any small town and I am in a house that sits on ten acres of thick forest. I don't know much about how to do the wilderness survival thing in this new element. I was searching the web for tips and stumbled upon this site. I plan on being a regular and hope to make some friends.:)

I did some crazy stuff as a kid and was set straight in a wilderness survival camp. Ever since i have been absolutly crazy about the outdoors. This might sound a bit crazy, but I think the man from suvivorman(on the discovery channel) was a staff member at the camp.
