crossbows

im curious to see opinions of using a crossbow in a survival situation. i read in the survival rifles threads some of you were talking about stealth and the ability to stalk your dinner. why not use a crossbow? i know range is a limitation but other than that i dont see a problem. thoughts?

There are several threads on here about the use of and even making crossbows..

I plan on doing just that. There are times in life when you just don't need to let everyone around know you just shot some food. :)
