I'd have to pass. Looks like it it trying to fill a void that does not exist. It also looks like it is trying to be an "all around" tool that does not do anything extremely well.

I agree with Crash. This seems like a tool that can do everything, but can't do anything great. Even the video showed that batoning was a flop and the improvised hatchet was only demoed on small stick that I can break with my hands or feet without a tool. Anything bigger and you'll need a hatchet/camp axe. All the other stuff is covered by my knives.

Nay for me too. But I've seen other tools that I turned my nose up to in the right hands do a very good job.

It looks like a twist to an Ulu. I'll pass as well. I kinda believe that a tool designed to do many things doesn't do any of them well.

I'll pass as well, but if you want one, go for it!

This thing is $40 and there is a hatchet version of this that is the same thing, just with a handle that runs $60.

Even for the $40, I can get a couple of mora's, a hatchet, a sharpening stone and still have money left over for a six pack!

I have watched a bunch of that guy's videos and he is like a walking infomercial. Hopefully Gerber and Bear Grills are paying him extra.... because he is giving them a lot of positive publicity.

I'll pass as well......
I just don't want to have to justify to my friends when they say...
"What the heck is that? .....What does it do?.....Why don't you just use that Bigazz knife you are so proud of?........."

Wow you folks are incredibly fair. Good to know... I am still considering it and stuck it on a Christmas list - I let someone else pay for it. I will video a review next year.
