Looking for ourdoor enthusiasts to participate in a 3 month survival and gold panning trip in the Umpqua National Forest in Oregon State.

We will be mainly working to locate and pan for untapped gold resources in creek and stream beds.

If you are interested please send me a message

A little more information might be advisable. When is this planned? How are you going to be supplied? How many people are involved? Is this a private adventure? Are you staking claims? Will volunteers be part owners of any find? Inquiring minds want to know.

Yeah, don't take this the wrong way, but with what you gave us it sounds like a "back of a napkin" idea. I have trouble wrapping my head around wilderness survival AND panning for gold at the same time. Both are very time and labor intensive.

If I have to "survive" while working, prospecting , panning, mining...count me out....There better be a mess tent and accommodations.
Who's gold is it gonna be? .....
There legal provisions for prospecting in Umpqua National Forest?

Sounds like you are looking for free labor.

Hmmm, let me see...go off into the wilderness for 3 months with somebody I've never heard of before to look for gold while "survivin'." Gee, sounds really tempting, but I think I'll have to pass. You're not previously with the "Bare Wilderness Team" are you?...:confused1:

You don't play the banjo and ask guys to squeal like a pig do you?...just wondering...:sneaky2:

Lol. I am guessing that this will be the best response, no offence to anyone else!!

Last time I volunteered for "Adventure" I ended up with a shaved head and getting issued green socks! :m107:
