Back when I was in college and the year after I graduated, I spent time in Japan. As a result, I do enjoy making Asian fare. I recently came across a spice I used on grilled chicken dishes. It's called "Shichimi" - literally means 7 spices. The main spice is ground chili pepper and then they add the following:
mandarin orange peel
sesame seed
hemp seed
poppy seed
nori which is a dried seaweed (if you eat sushi, you know nori)
and ground sansho (a type of Chinese pepper)

I just grilled some chicken wings, made hot sauce, but added Shichimi to it while it was grilling. It was delicious and I highly recommend it.

You can buy it at most Asian markets. Just ask someone for it.

I had a 52 woody that had that problem in the front end. It was so bad that's exactly how you pronounced it.

I think we all have days like that! But seriously, it's a good spice because it's got several flavors in a small bottle. Kind of like a 52 Woody...??

Mine, by the way, did not look anywhere as good as this one. The rust was so bad. (How bad was it?). The rust was so bad when you drove down the road the front quarter panels looked like wings flapping to take off.

I love those cars. Remember the station wagons in the 60's and beyond that went with the fake wood look trying to recapture the Woody? There was just something not right about it.
