Those old two man saws were made with some really fantastic steel, and you can pick them up fairly cheap in most areas. Especially the busted up ones. I found one on our property several years ago and decided to make a couple knives out of it. Nothing special, but I've never seen a video on how to make a fillet knife. As you know, a fillet knife has to flex, it has to be fairly thin, and must have a very fine edge. All these things the old saw blade steel is great at! So here's my un-coordinated attempt at showing how I made a fairly decent fillet knife. It is a three part series.
