got my knives today

had to go to the po to get them this morn.
anyhow their schrade camp knives 1,schf36&2,is mod,37
their nic sturdy knives for sure just a bit on the heavy side though.
took the larger one out to cut some saplings it did well.it,s 12,3/8ths o/a
the smaller one is 11in even.kinda big bot over all nice they have really nice sheaths
and a nice diamond sharpener and fire steel that fit into a pouch mounted on the sheath.

I went to Youtube and checked those out.

I like the sheath and goodies that come with it and I am pretty sure my 6" Old Hickory butcher knife would fit right in there!

Just kidding HS, I am sure it will be a very nice basic knife, especially the short one.

If I go bigger than a 6" blade I want to move all the way to a short machete, but that is jut my personal thing.

krat funny you should mention using another knife for the sheath cause for a minute i had the same thought too.
do i have another knife that,s lighter,heh heh.they are nice knives just a bit heavy
