Weekend Camping Trip

This past weekend I noticed the weather was going to be nice and chilled. A good 32 or below at night and figured it would be a good chance to redeem myself on bailing over some freezing rain. Went to the river and set camp. Good fire, my single man tent, cookware and basic camping item and food. All went well and had a blast. No rain this time though the cold dew did fall but was all alright. All in all good trip and feel as I accomplished my goal of a cold weather trip.

Glad to hear you had a nice time. I have a weekend trip planned for this coming weekend, several people going so had to be planned well in advance. The last 2 years we had sub zero temperatures and clear skys, it was great. This weekend is calling for warm wet weather ugh!. Oh well the show will go on, just need to do some tarping first!!
