Caught (actually still catching) part of a new show on Discovery Channel. It's called The Alaska Experiment. Didn't see the start, but looks like four groups are going to spend 3 months in Alaska. Starts in late summer. Looks like very limited experience levels for some, while some have a little bit. Just watched a scene where 3 idiots were throwing spears (sort of) at salmon. Oh boy, this is gonna be rich.

Do they need the Monty Python?

So they must have filmed it last year. I wonder if the guy had an out of state "Non-resident" fishing license.

Looks like one couple that are staying in a wall tent have a pretty good sense about what to do. Another group - father and two daughters (college age) I think may be in trouble - he's out fishing while they're snarfing up their limited supplies. I'll probably tune in next week to see how things progress.

Aren't they the ones who made the lists of supplies so they can track them?? Lot of good that did if they are gonna eat all the first few weeks.

Yep, that's the one. When they first got to their cabin seemed like a sensible group. Dad was out fishing and they sat around digging into a large jar of peanut butter and eating raw potatoes (because it reminded them of when they were young).
