You have finished a paracord project and are not sure what to do with the cord ends. Here are a couple of suggestions. Can be used with any number of strands.

Method 1

First tie a crown knot https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=crown+knot

then a wall knot https://www.google.com/?gws_rd=ssl#q=wall+knot

Bring cord A under the 2 crossing strands a and repeat with the 3 remaining strands.

Tighten. See last step in method 2.

Method 2
Tie wall and crown knots as described above
Bring the wall knot strand parallel to the crown knot (you are doubling the crown knot here). Repeat with the 3 remaning strands.

With heamostat reach in through center of knot and grab the strand shown and pull strand through knot. Repeat with remaining strands.

Tighten the knot. You can now trim the ends a short distance from the knot and sear them so that they do not fray OR cut the ends flush with the knot and by pushing the ends into the knot and moving the strands around you can make the ends disappear. The same goes true with method 1

Now you can trim the ends close to the knot, push the ends in and move the strands to hide the ends.

OR Don't bury the ends and you will get a different effect.

When tied with two strands you get a nice alternative to the lanyard/diamond knot (on right)
