Yesterday a cougar was shot on the north end of Chicago. There have been sightings of a cougar(s) off and on for years and recently a great deal of sightings in some of the northern suburbs. I always thought the sightings were b.s. or people wanting their 5 minutes of fame. I guess not... maybe.
It remains to be seen whether this was an actual wild cougar or if it was either someone's pet or use to be. Here's the article on it.
