Despite what people think, snakes and spiders aren't really mindless venom injectors. They only strike when they feel threatened or if they use it as a means to feed. He didn't really seem to make to many sudden movements in the videos so the spider seemed more concerned with bugging the kcuf out of there, imho.

But, I agree with you that I would never do that. Some things you just don't do out of a sense of self preservation.

Yeah I had a hard time watching that also. The kind of work I do we sometimes encounter black widows in telephone boxes. We always have to wear gloves. One of my co-workers was saying he was bit on the leg by a black widow one time. He got sick and had to go to the doctor.

I am not going to watch those vids I hate spiders, but black widows are not as deadly or really that dangerous. There is the chance that there bite can be fatal but that hasn't happened in over 10 years in the U.S.

I have been bitten before grabbed a tree to help me up a hill and smashed a black widow in my hand by accident he blended well with the tree. He bit me and I got some cramps in my legs and a little nausea that was all. Like the page says the big danger is in young children and the elderly. I still went 2 the hospital though.

Check out this video of a Camel Spider against a Mouse. The spiders messes it up! The mouse makes alot of noise and crys alot. Just found it the other day.
