If I buy rice and beans from the store they are bagged and good for a year or so. If I want them for longer term I need to mylar and o2 them. Are store bought beans and rice already dry enough and fit for mylar treatment?
What other store bought foods are packaged ready to transfer to mylar and o2? Cereals? Noodles? Others???

IMHO, yes.. but Id fit them into rotation for annual change out to error on the side of safety.
