That was a nice review. My only complaint with packs that size is they never seem to have very well padded shoulder straps. Since you can't carry the weight on your hips like you do with a larger pack that becomes an issue especially if you have bad shoulders. I have a similar pack and picked up a pair of after market shoulder pads made by Maxpedition. They help but aren't as good as some of the beefier pads you find on the larger packs. Frankly, I've never understood why Maxpedition would make shoulder pads an accessory for their packs instead of just beefing up the ones on the pack.

One thing on your gear. I'd be hesitant to carry my knife on the outside like that if I were truly using it as a BOB. Something that important doesn't need to be lost. Just my opinion of course. Had to give you some rep for the vid. Thanks for posting it.

i have a Maxpedition Versipack shoulder bag, i find it great for those day trips. I can get gear out of it without taking off.Not a lot of room though.
