Hello.
I was a member of this site earlier, and took a little time off to start my business, (Security Surveillance systems Western Video Inc.)
I am a male originally from Michigan, and transplanted to Southern CA in 1983 while in the US Navy.
I am pretty handy with Firearms, Bows, Slingshots, axes, and knives. I enjoy nothing more than going for a hike in the back country, or taking a fly fishing trip. My field is engineering, (Mechanical/Electrical), and kind of a McGyver type. I have been first aid, and CPR trained, also WSI, CPR, and hand to hand.
I went through desert, and jungle survival school in the military, and for the most part it was just a camping trip without supplies.
We all grew up gardening, cutting wood, and hunting in Michigan, (I still hit the shooting range once a quarter at a minimum).
We have 50 gallons of water, solar shower, two weeks of food supplies for a family of (3), a bug out bag for each, and I am teaching my 13 year old daughter to shoot, and garden. We also have a seed bank, and I have taught my wife, and daughter how to acquire water, make a fire, and set a trap for small animals.
That's about it.
