Today is the first day of the big spring "Alaska Gun Collectors" Gun show. It is 3:45 AM, 16 Above zero F with clear skies, dry roads. Just think I get to drive 145 miles around Turnagain Arm, through the most beautiful country in the whole world, and then spend two days buying and selling and playing with firearms, IS this a GREAT country or what. Tens of thousands of Firearms of every vintage, and type......It is good to be Alive, in a free country.......I thank all who have made that possable.........THANK-YOU.:)

It was a outstanding show, We had the second best gate Saturday ever....... in 40 years. I did well..... sold off about $4,000.- worth of Firearms. Sold my last .375 Holland & Holland, that was sad. Sold my last NEW in the box Winchester Model 70 "Safari Grade".

But I am getting to old to shoot the BIG stuff. Sold 12 boxes of .375 H&H Ammo for $100.00 per box. Came back to 7" of fresh snow......YUCK...!

Well while you were gone! Hopeak, Beerunner, Nell and I ate all the bacon. So you missed out. I suggest next time you run off to have fun, you lock the Bacon where it can not be found!
