Not sure, I scored 100% on the quiz hosted by this site so I'll say 8 to 9 NM; always have more to learn!

Well I can start a fire with true flint and steel or with a magnifying glass, I’ve built a wigwam, and I know a bit about herbal medicine and what plants I can eat. But my biggest down side is I’ve never gutted an animal and I’m kind of squeamish about it. I really don’t want to but I’d do it if I had to. I know its something I need to know in order to survive. I have watched my papa/grandpa gut fish many times so I could probably figure that one out. When I first came to this forum I was probably a 4 now I’m probably a 5 1/2

I know I can survive on my own, and have done it for short periods of time however I don't know a lot about plants so I'm probably only 7-8 with tons to learn.

I am prof. at starting fires with flint / steel and mag. glass. Have no problem killing, skinning, cooking game. Tan my own hides, make my own clothes. Shelters are no problem. Know some veg. that I can eat. You can come across me in the early bow season chasing the deer and hogs away from my fav. musc. and berry bushes.

My fav. plant is the ever useful cattail.

In some circles I am considered a good woodsman, in others I feel like a greenhorn.

I've spent time in the jungles, in the high mnts., in the desert, and in the cold snow. Hung off the sides of mountains and crossed ragging rivers on a home made rope bridge. I've made many mistakes and been lucky.

I humbly rate myself a 5.

I'd say I am an 8 because I have pretty much lived in the wild most of my life in the rural mountains.

To give people a little leeway the quiz is 21 questions but I (erm I mean Sergeant Safari) only score it as if it was out of 20, so 105% is possible.

i think of myself as a 5 or 6. probably closer to a 5, need to learn more about wild edibles. only really confident with identifying 4 or 5 plants.

How about 50/50? I'm of the mind that regardless of your skills, you got just as much a chance of dying in a true survival situation as you do getting through it....

I think I'm about a 3-4... I know a bit about herbs and herbal medicine and have familiarized myself with at least 30 types for all the different regions. I can make a fire with flint, though not really fast, I've been on several personal "trips" into the wilderness and haven't gotten lost or anything... oh, and I don't use any of the new technology around. I take matches, not a lighter, I usually don't bring much food, just water tabs, and a use a compass... (no gps...)
I dunno... compared to more than half of the ppl on this forum, I don't know much. Just the basics.

What's wrong with a lighter...Strider? (Sorry, to good to pass up.) Even the renowned Les Stroud takes a lighter with him on his real forays.
