my name is keith and i am a newbie
i live in nyc and have limited outdoor experiance. i have done a lot of camping and very little backpacking. married with two kids and my guys love the outdoors so i thought i would try to gain some knowledge to pass along to the kids. keep things interesting and exciting for them. i am a retired nyc firefighter. big fan of knives and blades in general and one hell of a great guy(lol). it is a pleasure to be here

Take a ride on the search engine and see what tickles your fancy. There are some truly gifted folks on here (myself excluded. I'm way too modest to say how great I am) with tons of outdoor experience. What age on the kids (just so we know how adventurous you need to get).
