Hello all. I am a High School Principal from the NWT in Canada. I love reading and the great outdoors. My wife and our two children spend a lot of time outside skiing/ canoeing, playing in the woods and as time permits I love to hunt.

I am a big fan of optimus stoves, making home made wood stoves, the Atlatl, pack-boat canoes, Honda 4 strokes, the 358 Norma magnum and Mors Kochanski.

Here is Mors in my kitchen with my Outdoor Ed teacher.

Mors has worked in our school twice now and has really got me interested in wilderness survival and bush craft

Look forward to posting and learning here.

Yup...10 years worth of survival training at it's nastiest... Now that the kids are 7 and 5 I might change my job as the time and constant battles are taking away from the old family. But...It's a living!

Welcome to the Wolf-Pack, North 61! Anybody that studies under Mors is aces in my book! I've got a copy of Bushcraft & several other of those small booklets he's wrote...man knows his stuff! Awhile back I was exchanging e-mails with a pal of his...Cody Lundin. Any chance Mors might want to become a member/adviser of this site? We sure could use an experienced hand here!

Mors is in semi-retirement now and not much of a computer guy. He is concentrating on writing and a few of his more fun teaching assignments. After 40 years in the field this might seem too much like work to him!
