I know I can't be the only person to know about this.

A pinch of salt, a fistful of sugar, a half liter (whole liter in other sources) of water.

Then there's: 6 level teaspoons of sugar and 1/2 level teaspoon of salt dissolved in 1 liter of clean water.

Since this is the best place (I can find), would it be possible to sub sugar with, say for instance, raw honey? I don't see why not, but how would you know how much to use. A fist full of Honey is kinda gooey after all.

This recipe might be a little more palatable. http://www.food.com/recipe/homemade-gatorade-93652

Crash's link looks pretty tasty!

For the basic non-flavored version, I always used a pinch of salt, four tablespoons sugar in a 16-20oz glass topped off with water. I use it when I dehydrate from diarrhea. Also worked well the morning after a party in my early adulthood days. Hope it helps!
