So are you re-thinking that flood insurance premiums?.....or is that in case the jacuzzi in 4 "B" springs a leak....LOL

I live right on a creek, with no pine very close. I'm third floor facing that creek (2nd floor, otherwise).
Since I've been here the "1st" floor has seen 2 ft of water...inside.
If my apt burns up, I don't want to hear that the fire was caused by a flood.
I have that Case knife collection to protect, you know...and my watches.
Currently, the creek isn't running, but out here, the moment that you count on that...well, it won't be pretty.
I didn't have flood insurance in Wisconsin because min was a "ridge" property, annd if I was flooded, we would all need an ark...

I hear ya....cabin is in rifge country....but it's up from the river maybe a 100 ft or so
