Here is another site for caning that we use alot. http://www.homecanning.com/can/ It has alot of useful information on canning just about anything.

very good info rick but who wrote the part about a pressure canning being better than the other way, i just wonder which way is safer would like to do it with someone who has experince first to be able to have a q and a session
but good threads where do you find all this

I have a pretty veracious appetite for reading I just do mine on the web. In the course of looking up one item I generally stumble across two or three more that peak my curiosity.
