That is probably one of the greatest things i have seen in a long time. Its soo awsome that he did all that, and how well it works. Everyone needs to start living like that for their own benefit, and for the earth as a whole.

Very inspiring! It may be that your climate may not allow year-long growing, but we can all take one step towards providing some of our own sustenance. Thanks for sharing!

I had an uncle down in Louisiana who had a small family farm.
Besides vegetables, he grew rabbits, chickens, 1 milk cow, acouple of hogs (to eat the garbage, and for bacon) fruit and nut trees, herbs.

He also had a workshop to make outdoors furniture to sell for cash.
Raised worms to sell and for self (fishing)
Foraged through the bayous for other needs

He also had a well and septic tank. No city water or city water company bills.
