LOL! At that price the seller still wants $65 for shipping!

Looks like he has a got quite a few offers, can't see how much he was offered. I can see it being worth some coin but wow! Then again if he sticks it out and there are none available anywhere else he may come out quite well. That's how antiques work.

I got a copy of the first plastic sack Kroger ever used to haul groceries from checkout counter to Minivan. I even have a letter from the patent office covering the blend of plastic and forming process. I can mail it out as soon as the ink from the printer dries.

I'll take only $100 for plastic sack and letter.

Yes, but to insure such a valuable part of Kroger history will be an additional $39.95.

All the pack has is the patent date, not the manufacturing date. Could be a 20 year old pack.

What?! Are you questioning the seller's ethics? Why I never. I should watch this closely and see who wins. I have all sorts of gear that was Patented eons ago. I could even sell them a square inch of my land.

I was thinking the same thing...but ya beat me to bringing that up....LOL
Says 1882, so maybe it worth the money....now on the other hand.... a 1883, the value would be only about $5 bucks at a yard sale.....

I usually get my Antique Kroger bag out of the trees that they are hanging in......

Maybe he should take it to the Las Vegas "PAWN SHOP" and try to talk Rick into buying it.

I can hear it now......
>>What do you want to get for it?
>$60,000.
>>No, I'm serious - it's kind of cool - what do you want for it?
>$60,000.
>>You've been drinking haven't you?

"How much you asking on that "piece of crap" bag?" :confused1:

"60k!"

"Aw, ya gotta be kidding me, man! How many people are gonna lay out that kind of money for a piece of rotting canvas like that?"

"All's I need is one!" :creepy:

As my signature says,"I'm not an expert". Now that said, Why would anyone in their right mind think that any ruck sack is worth that kind of money? I don't care how old it is. Seller seems to do a pretty good business on ebay but imo he's lost his mind on this one. Of the 153 offers he's recieved I wonder how many are over $100?
